You can hate James Potter and that's fine, not everyone has to love him. But hating to the point of bringing the HCs of him being an abusive husband to Lily who hits her and shames her verbally is on a whole new level.

Do you think that Lily - I quitted to talk to my childhood friend who called me a vulgar name - Evans would even let him to do that or get away with it even if James was such a man?

James was a cruel bully during school, yes. He may have hexed Snape ( who hexed him as well ) ,yes. But I don't get why is it so hard for people to believe he has matured and even IF he had not , JAMES POTTER HAD LIVED IN A HOUSE WHICH WAS FILLED WITH LOVE AND HIS PARENTS LOVED HIM AND EACH OTHER. FOR GOD'S SAKE SIRIUS BLACK RAN AWAY TO HIM AND HIS FAMILY. He knows how to be a loving husband and a caring father.

This new brand of James hate is getting out of hand and it's not even funny.
